Prophet of the Dead (Part I)
(A/N - Prophet of the Dead is a linear narrative from the perspective of a 12-year-old prodigy. She, and the deuteragonist of the series, Ren, can see ghosts. She can hear ghosts and will have to teach Ren to do the same. Her name is Isabella, and this story (since the chapters are short) will update every 1-3 days (every other day, every day, or every third day) depending on how much time I have. The MvG is taking forever to get underway, so this will be my main story until I can get that together! Enjoy!)
If there is one thing I regret the most, it’s talking to Ren. That, and the fact that I’m academically gifted.
The summer days that other kids on my block spend frolicking with friends, I spend with a book. Any book, you name it, I’ve read. I’ve flipped through encyclopaedias, scanned dictionaries, examined thesauruses. Whenever an ELA teacher hands out a new book, I’ve read it.
